At the beginning of Advent, the St. Vincent De Paul Society at Regina Pacis encouraged all parishioners who want to be part of our journey to approach our brothers and sisters in Christ on Christmas 2021. After a few weeks of announcing, we collected many new socks, hats, gloves, and scarves from generous parishioners who donated to the Society. On Saturday, December 18th, considerable volunteers came to the parish and prepared Christmas gifts for the unfortunate. On Wednesday, December 22nd, the representatives of different parish communities, under the direction of Fr. Lin, CM, went to several streets in our neighborhood to look for our unfortunate brothers and sisters. We were with them to have conversations and sing Christmas songs together. Our presence brought them joy and a warm feeling. It was a meaningful journey because our parish could express our love of Christ to our brothers and sisters by sharing the goods and being present. Thank you to everyone who was involved in this journey of love. We hope that there will be many more trips like this in the future. Merry Christmas! More Pictures Here
