It is a tradition that on or near the feast of Saint Francis of Assisi, people bring their pets to the church to have them blessed.
We will be blessing animals on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 3rd, AFTER each morning Mass.
We will also bless your pets after the 8:30 Mass on Monday, October 4th.
Please bring your pets in a proper carrier. Do not let them loose in the church. Please clean up any mess they might make.
The blessing will take place OUTSIDE the Basilica.
